Anna Kate is here

Anna Kate Goodrich arrived friday September 21, 2007 at 9:26 pm. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches. She was 3 weeks early, her due date was not until 10/11/07, but she decided to join us early. She spent 3 nights in NICU - because she had irregular breathing, due to her being early they think, but she is doing better now. I got to come home on monday and she came home tuesday afternoon -

Update on Anna Kate's Arrival

We went back to the dr on friday - and I had dilated to 3cm - the Dr. said he would be surprised if he did not see us this weekend - but IF he didn't he would see me monday to see if there were anymore changes...but he felt certain she would be here within the week -

That all sounds really promising, BUT - so far I have felt nothing more than uncomfortable - I feel contractions but they are not regular so needless to say I am VERY anxious.

If nothing happens tonight - then I will repost tomorrow with the latest from the Dr.

Meanwhile - say your prayers that everything will go ok and that the Lord will teach me patience......

LOTS OF CHANGES

Well - its been a while since my last post - lots has happened - we FINALLY decided on a name for the baby - Anna Kate Goodrich - and we will call her Anna Kate - I am very excited about that :)

Ava had her 2nd birthday party last weekend - its hard to believe she is already 2. It seems just like yesterday she was so small now she is really a "big girl". I will post pictures of her birthday party as soon as Brannon loads them onto the computer - I still dont know how to do that.

I had drs appt today - and I got to have another sonogram... I will be 36 weeks on Thursday and they are supposed to induce on 9/30 so she will be born on 10/1/07 - if i dont go earlier on my own. Today I had already dilated to 2 cm - so we will see if she comes early or not -

According to the measurements they took during the sonogram she is already 6 lbs 11 oz - thats almost as big as Ava was at 39 wks when she was born..... she was an even 7 lbs. So if you go by the standard of the baby gaining 1/2 lb a week - if i make it to 10/1 she will be somewhere around 8.5 pounds....... they say she has hair - dont know how much but the lady showed it to me on the screen - so we will see -

New Baby Update

Just an update on the new baby who has no exact name...... as of yet.....

I have 9 weeks to go, they are going to induce labor on 10/1 if she doesn't decide to come sooner. They dont think she will because the 1st is still 10 days early. As bad as I want her here, I really don't want her to come any earlier than 10/1 because she may not be ready.....

Just please keep our family in your prayers, that everything goes smooth and everyone stays healthy.

Loni's Wedding

Loni's wedding was actually the weekend before we went to the beach, I just posted them in the wrong order. We had a great time at the wedding and everything turned out perfect. She really was beautiful.
