Mimi & Emma Day 2

Today we (the girls and me) went to walmart to get the stuff for our crafts and a few groceries. Then we came home got Mimi Cakes and Branny and headed off the the water park aka Flower Mound community rec center.... As we walk in emma says, "now this i can handle"... the girls played and played.... then we came home, ate dinner and had our party.... Its Mimi, Branny, Emma, Lolo, Ava we ALL have birthdays this month... then next will be Lacy and Anna Kate, then Ella... so we have lots of paryting to do.. Ava says it was the best party ever, but she says that after every party so who knows...

Mimi and Emma are here

Well, Mimi and Emma got here yesterday at 9 am - and we have been non stop ever since. We left the airport, got breakfast/lunch.... and came to the house. The girls went swimming while mom got a facial and I got a massage.. then we came back grilled hamburgers and went back to the pool... Ava loves having Emmo here.. and is copying everything she does. You sure can learn alot from a second grader.... here are a few pics from day 1.... as you can see the girls drove the gator to the pool last night..and Emma said Ava "really was a splendid driver"

Anna Kate has started pulling up on EVERYTHING within the past week. before, she could only pull up to her knees - but now we are up on our feet... pray for me... shes gonna be all over the place before long..

Caught up

NOw i am caught up on the blogging.. when mamaw and papa were here thats the first time I have had my camera out since we moved. I plan on taking some pictures of the girls and of the new house this weekend and I will try to get them on here sunday .....

Thank You

While Mamaw and Papa were here, they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. YES 58 years. Thats almost unheard of these days. When my great mamaw (papas mom)was alive we used to sit and listed to her tell stories of when she was married (at 15) and how they worked on the farm etc. and i thought that was soooo neat. Well i got to do that with Mamaw and Papa this past week too.... how they met, working when they were younger, raising their kids, all sorts of things. It was really neat and really an inspiration. Sometimes I feel CRAZY and I have only been married 6 1/2 years only have 2 kids and they are girls! I cant imagine being married 58 years having 5 kids the only girl being my mom, having 13 grandkids and 9 GREAT grandkids.... Thats amazing. we are all very lucky to have mamaw and papa and hope they know how much we love them and look up to them. happy anniversary - we love you.....thanks for showing us all what it means to love and never give up even when things are hard...

South Fork Ranch

While they were here we went to Southfork, we were all a little disappointed because it was so small... but it was neat none the less....

Mamaw and Papa Came !!!!!

After 6 1/2 years of being in Dallas, Mamaw and Papa decided to come and see us. FINALLY... We had a great time. The girls really enjoyed them being here. Anna Kate LOVED mamaw feeding her she just ATE & ATE & ATE. Ava and Papa cooked and they both enjoyed that. If Anna Kate wouldnt have been sick we would have done more but it was nice just to enjoy each others company.... I really miss them and love them more than they know....Thank yall for coming it means the world to me... I LOVE YOU BOTH

Goodbye Old House

This was our last day at 1128 Shawnee Trail. I never thought I would be sad to leave, but all I could think about was bringing my babies home there.. so I took a picture of them together... as we left.... and after Ava said "bye room, bye mommies room, bye kitchen, bye backyard..." yes we said BYE to everything...

It was a good ole' house and we made lost of memories there... we will never forget it...

We've Moved

Well we officially have a big ole MESS. We got moved into our new house this weekend and are up to our eyeballs in boxes and stuff.... who knew we had so much stuff? Anyway - just wanted to let everyone know that i will post more pictures soon. Once I can find the camera and the cord for the computer... :) its in a box somewhere.....

I hope all the Dads had a GREAT day yesterday. I know I love my dad and miss him more than he will ever know..... cant wait to see him again... and neither can Ava...

I am also glad that Ava and Anna Kate have a daddy who loves them very much and who they love very much. It is so much fun watching their relationships grow.... but as I know from my own relationship with my dad.... they never stop growing, they only get better and better.

Update on the Goodrichs

Well, lots of things are happening around here... Anna Kate is inching around. She can get where she wants to go but i wouldnt call it crawling just yet. She is still without any teeth and we are wondering how much she can possibly chew up before they get here... Hopefully that will be soon. Ava is getting bigger by the day. She loves playing and trying to hit the ball off of her tee. She can actually hit it pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old. She is getting a little bossy (she gets that from her aunt loni) and believe it or not she is a little priss sometimes, I have NO idea where that comes from at all. Its hard to believe she will be 3 in a few months. and Cates will be 1... time flies.

As for me and daddy... well we sold our house here in Carrollton and we bought another one in Flower Mound. Thats about 12 minutes away from where we are now. We will actually be closer to the airport. Its not closer to home but its a nice house and it will do for now... We are VERY excited. We are supposed to close on our house on 6/4 and our new house on 6/11 so we will see. I will keep everyone updated and get you all our new address when the deal is done.

We are just enjoying these girls and the new things each day brings. I am so grateful that God gave me two healthy little blessings that make my life complete. we hope all of you are doing great and would love to hear from everyone. If any of you want to come visit, just give us a call we would LOVE to see you.

We plan on being back in BHM sometime around the girls birthdays for a combined party so we will keep you posted on that as well..

Happy 3rd Birthday Will

Wills birthday party was at the Firestation. We got to meet the firemen and see the trucks and even have our pictures made. It was really fun. After that we got to play at the park and have Pizza.... Ava says it was a REALLY fun party. Hope you had a GREAT day Will....
